4/ Getting a scooter on the road is a lot cheaper than with a car. Road Tax is between £ 15 to £ 65 depending on the size of the engine. Third party insurance for a rider under 19 years old is typically around £ 160 a year but if you're over 40 then you can pay as little as £ 35.
